Encouragement Scriptures

The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10)

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3: 5-6)

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. (Psalm 46:1-3)

For the spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7)

Cast all your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. (Psalm 55:22)

I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. (Psalm 16:8)

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life. (Psalm 119:50)

I call on the Lord in my distress, and he answers me. (Psalm 120:1)
